CUSTOM & READY TO WEAR CLOTHING PURCHASES ONLY

 

By making any payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions, including all invoiced items, pricing, payment schedules and garment specifications.

 

PAYMENTS

 

For custom garments an initial 50% deposit is required before the order can commence, unless a lesser amount has been agreed to. A further 30% payment is required prior to measurements being sent, with the remaining balance payable before shipping and within 3 days of contact with final suit completion. Couture Menswear reserves the right to withhold garments, delay and/or suspend services where payments are not made by the payment schedule. Recovery action may be taken where outstanding balances remain unpaid.

 

INVOICE APPROVAL, CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

 

Clients must review all invoice details carefully prior to making payment, including garment selections, sizing requests, quantities and pricing. Couture Menswear cannot be held responsible for errors or inconsistencies not raised within 24 hours of the first payment. As each garment is custom-made to the client’s specifications, cancellations, refunds or exchanges are not available for change of mind, event postponements, wedding cancellations or other personal circumstances once production has commenced, except where required under law.

 

Upon acceptance of the invoice and commencement of the order, the total invoiced amount becomes fixed and payable in full. All invoices must be paid in full before garments are released. Upon receipt of the initial payment, all garment selections, quantities and invoice details are considered final and production commitments are secured accordingly. Changes to the order are not permitted after this point. Once measurements have been taken and manufacturing has commenced, production cannot be reversed, paused or delayed. Requests to postpone completion dates or suspend production will be declined.

 

EMBROIDERY

 

Embroidery services, including initials or name customisation, are subject to timing, production capacity and operational availability. Where embroidery cannot be completed, any embroidery surcharge paid will be refunded.

 

FAILURE TO CONTACT

 

Final payment must occur by the due date specified on the invoice or within 3 days of Couture Menswear first contacting the client to arrange delivery. Where contact is obsolete or final payment is unpaid for more than 30 days from this date, Couture Menswear reserves the right to retain all deposits paid and deem the items abandoned. Couture Menswear may then dispose of or otherwise deal with the garments at its discretion. If payment is delayed Couture Menswear cannot guarantee initial delivery times discussed. 

 

RUSH ORDERS

 

Orders requiring expedited production may incur a rush order surcharge in addition to standard garment pricing. Rush order availability, pricing and turnaround times are subject to fabric availability, production capacity and client requirements. In most circumstances, orders required within eight weeks will be classified as rush orders, however certain fabrics or designs may require rush processing outside this timeframe. Any applicable surcharge will always be disclosed prior to payment.
